I went on the February course, instructed by Lance Bonner. From beginning to end, this course was absolutely fantastic. I have been doing First Aid since I was a child, but I have NEVER been on such an informative, fun and well structured course.

We were taught so many useful tips and techniques, which went far beyond the course criteria. Due to the teaching method, realism, and sense of humour, these were very easily absorbed.

Lance’s course is very hands-on, which is a good thing as it quickly helps to break the ice and it prepares you for a real life situation. He also brought along plenty of interesting resources for us to look at and pass around the group.
In summary, this is a wonderful course with an outstanding instructor. I am recommending FACTS to everyone I know.

I attended a two day refresher course in May 2011, as currently required every three years.

Lance Bonner was the trainer and he is superb and passionate about his work. He is very knowledgeable and skilled and a great all-round entertainer who kept everybody’ s attention. I never looked at the clock once and learnt so much that will benefit me in all aspects of life, not just at work as a first-aider but at home and out of work too.

I learnt some great tips and I am more confident, looking forward into the next three years, that what I picked up over the last two days will pay dividends.
In fact, these refresher courses should be an annual event because you can become rusty if the skills you learn are not required regularly.
A good all round team; the two examiners put you at ease in the artificial environment of an exam. But Lance (Barney Rubble’s twin) is the star of the show, I have never enjoyed any course in my life if I am honest until this one, so this was a real first for me.

I have just completed a 3 day course which for me, was my first experience of professional first aid training. I expected the course to be quite a daunting experience however, the reality was an extremely enjoyable, informative and valuable experience.

Lance Bonner has a presentation style which immediately puts the group at ease and brings the students together as a team. Although very serious, Lance makes his points with a series of anecdotes which can be amusing whilst driving home the purpose of the story in terms of student retention. Although I don’t think I was alone in feeling nervous about assessment day, we were all properly prepared when our time came around. I would have no hesitation in recommending First Aid Central Training Services to anyone.

I have just finished a three day coures with Lance Bonner i must say it is the only course i have attended and for one minute i was not bored or looking at the clock.He made it interesting and very funny at the same time but the serious side of the training really sank in, and i think everyone in the room felt they had know each other for years.
